*Sail/Fish or Social. Ideal tide/dates for activities
Please keep the committee informed if you require any changes, you may want to organize a social event at the club house, a trip to not-to far away places, go down the Haven to check out the channel or you just need help.
NB: Don’t forget the club house is available if you are unable to get to sea on the day and you want a cuppa, leave it tidy, put all food stuff back in the fridge and switch off all appliances.
Winter Fishing all members participating should take extra care, channel marks may be lost during the winter, notify bouyage officer if any concerns
Mid week sailing/fishing to be arranged by members as and when, let someone know when you go out and be aware that we are just south of Donna Nook bombing range and this is active on most days of the week except sat/Sunday, advice can be sort on the day (call: RAF Donna Nook on VHF channel 16).
Don’t forget, if you go North of the Haven, after you pass Donna Nook then call “Humber Coast Guard” and if you’re staying South of Donna Nook, then call “Yarmouth Coast Guard”.
NB: you will possibly be aware of the downsizing of the coast guard in our area, this may mean that all contact in the future may be through “Humber Coast Guard” on channel 16 plus weather reports. (We will keep you informed as soon as we know).
This should not affect the service we get from the RNLI.
